I'm not even going to start on how horrible last semester was. x.x

This semester, however, is looking up. While half of our dorm lounge community (The Lounge Rats of BotSwin) has moved to the new honors dorm and BotSwin has pretty much gone ghetto, I've gotten some good classes scheduled for myself. The one I will particularly enjoy will be Creative Writing. I have it with and two other people from my dorm, one good and one bad; a boys' RA and a girl the Lounge Rats dubbed 'Awkward Girl' last year. Again, I'm not going to start on that.

I miss the friends who moved, but I'm very glad that I didn't leave BotSwin. Just because our dorm is older doesn't make it inferior to the new Honors dorm; I actually prefer BotSwin to Deho. There is room to move in the hallways, it feels like a home and not a hotel, and, frankly, BotSwin has much better construction. Whose door frames stretched over the summer because the building settled quickly in its foundation? Not BotSwin.

ANYWAY. Hopefully I will have time to do things this semester, particularly with WFC. I also want to get back into reading for fun, writing my stories, and drawing...the lack of lounge rats actually gives me the time to do all of these things, since I get bored in the lounge more easily, so rack up another point for being in BotSwin.

Maybe I'll even start submitting writing samples here, to mix things up a bit. Yay me.
